Well done to the children for brilliantly settling back into school routines this week.  It has been a busy but productive week!

I hope that you all had time to read the letter which I sent on Tuesday about Keeping Children Safe Online.  It is an important letter with a link to some very helpful guides on the school website.  Thank you very much for your support with this.

This week it has been lovely to welcome both Amy Reeves to our lunch time assistant team in Purple Class and Sherrie Whitfield to our SSA team in Sapphire Class.  We hope that you will both be very happy at Cedar! 

On Sunday 19th May, the Romsey Relay Marathon is taking place.  Along with a team of colleagues from Aviva, Ally Antell (whose son, Andrew, is a pupil here at Cedar), will be running the marathon to raise money for The Cedar School.  They have set up a fundraising page which tells more about the Antell family's personal reasons for entering this event.  The link to the fundraising page is https://samantell. muchloved.com/Fundraising/ Events/679555591 and Ally and the Aviva team thank you for any donations made.  Huge thanks from everyone at Cedar to Ally and his Aviva colleagues; we send you strength for the run.

Next week we will be sending home the class learning letters for this half-term.  Your child's  teacher will send yours directly to you.  Thank you for your positive feedback about how helpful you find these letters.
