We have had a number of staff and a few children who have had Covid this week; we are so sorry and we send everyone affected best wishes for speedy recoveries.  

I especially thank families in Purple Class because we needed to close the class on Monday and Tuesday due to staff illness.  Your support with this was hugely, hugely appreciated.  It has been so lovely to have your children back with us since Wednesday :-) 

SAVE THE DATE: Macmillan Coffee Morning - Thursday 26th September, 9.30am - 11.00am (THIS COMING THURSDAY)
On Thursday 26th September (this coming week!), parents and carers are invited into school between 9.30am and 11.00am for our Macmillan Coffee Morning.  We will have a number of cakes and coffee/tea. There will also be a tub to collect any donations for this very worthy cause.

Please can you let Karen Collins in the school office know if you are able to come along so that we have an idea of numbers.  Thank you!

Roadworks Outside School
As many of you will know, there have been on-going roadworks outside school for several months and these are due to continue for a few more weeks.  The aim of these roadworks is to help the traffic flow along Romsey Road and Redbridge Lane.  While this work is happening, there are times when vehicles have to queue and even when one or other of the lanes is temporarily closed.  We do not have any control over this nor do we know exactly when lanes are due to be closed but I just want to highlight this to you if you are going to be driving to school over the next few weeks.  Thank you for your support with this ... hopefully the 'end result' will be better for traffic in the long-run!
