Hello from Cedar Weekly Emails

Hello from Cedar

It has been another busy week in school with lots of exciting learning opportunities!

Next week is looking quite 'busy' too ...  !:

Christmas Extravaganza - ON TUESDAY!

You are all warmly invited to our annual Christmas Extravaganza on Tuesday (17th December) from 10am-12pm ! Those of you who have been before know what a lovely, casual and friendly event it is. Highlights will be:

·            Miller’s Ark live mini farm

·            Brass band

·            Free grotto and Santa

·            Snow machine

·            Festive crafts and games

·            Café

·            Christmas market

·            Grand draw raffle

Christmas Dinner  - Thursday 19th  December
Thursday will be ‘Christmas Dinner Day’! Christmas dinner will be enjoyed in classrooms all around the school. Rooms will be decorated and we are expecting a lot of Christmas music! In the afternoon, games and sensory activities will be available throughout the school.

Christmas Jumper Day  - Friday 20th December
Dust off your old Christmas jumper, or get creative and decorate your own! We will be celebrating the end of another hardworking term with silly jumpers and tops. With the cost of living crisis and the environment in our minds, recycling your Christmas jumpers might be a good idea.  If you have Christmas jumpers that you no longer need, please send them into school before the 20th and we will redistribute them to other families. All the children will gather at the end of the day for a ‘sing a long’ before we go home!

After all of that, we will be breaking up for the Christmas Holiday on Friday 20th December.

After the Christmas break, the children will return to school on Tuesday 7th January 2025.

We hope that you all enjoy a relaxing weekend and we look forward to seeing everyone for the last week of term on Monday!

Warm seasonal wishes from us all at Cedar,
Neil, Cesia and the whole Cedar Team
