Happy New Year to you all from the team at Cedar! Frighteningly it already seems like a while ago but I do hope that you enjoyed the festive season.
It has been lovely to welcome the children back this week; they have settled so well to the new term.
Class Learning Letters
Your child's Class Learning Letter for this half-term will be sent home early next week, either in paper format or attached to an email. Please do keep a look out for this! This important letter gives information about your child's learning and ways that you might choose to develop this learning at home. Thank you, as always, for your support.
School Photographer
'Smile!' On Wednesday (15th January) the school photographer will be in school to take photos of all of the children. Obviously, if any child really does not want their photo taken, that is fine but it would be lovely to get photos of as many of the children as possible.
Winter Weather
Although we had a small taste of it on Wednesday, we have been spared the severe wintry weather which has affected much of the country this week. Just a reminder, though, please to keep an eye on your emails if the weather does become 'challenging' at any stage in the next few weeks. If school is ever affected by the weather, we would send an email to all families to share the arrangements. Thank you. As always, this is a decision for each school to make based on its specific circumstances.
Staffing Updates
This week we have welcomed Erin Cavley to our lunch time assistant team and Elisha Holmes has left the team. We thank Elisha for her work with the children and we all look forward to working with Erin.
